Absolute Justice?

Right. The concept of doing anything to stop criminals, even at the cost of some civilians -- on the theory that if left unchecked the criminal would do worse things than the so-called price of stopping the criminal.

[ ... sacrificing innocent civilians for something like that? did "the greater good" ever benefit from all of the bodies left behind? ] That's terrible.

Indeed. Part of me is glad that other worlds don't seem to have it... but mostly I'm just surprised. Of course it's probably more likely that in such a place, writing about it isn't allowed.

Perhaps, but true justice would persist nevertheless. People's individual sense of right and wrong seems to be universal.

Something else could have a different idea about justice. If they were the ones enforcing it, then wouldn't everything be different?

I suppose... but nothing comes to mind like that...

I don't know about entire worlds... but maybe a country.

Wouldn't someone from the other countries write about it then?
