[ when this happens, one may find an unresponsive alphonse elric slumped over beside the fountain. you might even see him fall! he's not going to be getting up until the other elric brother is.

but a little while later, the voice clicks on. it's close to midnight. ]

It's a little late, but does anyone have any good book recommendations?

I've never heard of Stephen King before. But I've been interested in looking at the mythology of other worlds! [ to see what matches up, what doesn't. what could possibly be used in deciphering codes. ] My brother bought me a copy of that one.

He's a famous author from my world, excellent novels.

I saw a good book on Greek mythology. Greece is a country from my world, but their ancient mythology and history is quite fascinating. A lot of modern ideas in mathematics and science began with the Greeks and later the Romans.

Do you have any specific titles you'd recommend?

[ hm... ] There may be something similar in my world. Everything seems to originate from one place.

The Green Mile is really good, very moving. Less horror, more drama. Pet Semetary is one of his classics, horror right there. Same with It and Cujo.

There were several cultures that contributed to understanding on topics, all feeding off the available and shared knowledge. A little like here.

That sounds interesting. [ ... though, even as a suit of armor, he freaks himself out late at night. ]

For a different genre and type of literature, there's always the works of Shakespeare. Poetry, prose, and plays.

I've read a little since I've been here. Some of it's very much like my world's, others are a little... different.

It's fascinating even across different worlds, some things remain the same or similar.

It's also nice to know that even if we're all from different worlds there are some links between them.

Maybe in the end we all share one really big sky.
